James Sorrell WINS STREET SPRINTS- PUSHES 1202 watts-wow-great job green machine

ladies and gentlemen-

The torch has been passed- ADAM BERG won street sprints last year without a problem. This year however he had hsi work cut out for him. Even though Adam didnt have war paint on his face- he came to WIN and kick some butt.

James however pushed it a half a wheel harder than Adam.

Great race see it on the videos- James

1st Day of riding in Solvang-

Woke up at about 6am here to go get some grub- (really never happened) I dont know why-

This year we have teams (its a team of 13 of us) we actually were able to name our teams- (were Chainreaction)
Jim Sauls came up with it-

We rolled out today at about 8:40am (the weather was about 40 degrees) and yes ALL of us overdressed I think-

I mean we had full blown shoe covers, to skull caps, it was great with all of the chicago thinking behind it thinking the weather followed us from Chi town-

Day 3 "We arrive in LA"

So we leave our wonderful Eco-Lodge and are hungry so we go and get gas and go to something different- DENNYS-

We really didnt eat much for dinner yesterday (even though I know that Rob E was (and is always hungry) so we went in and ate like KIngs........ until about 20 minutes later realzing that the amount of food we ate could have fed a small village in Ethopia. And we gave a look to one another, puzzled- as if we didnt know what was wrong-

Until we got intot the car, and "papa Bear" sniffe… Continue

Day 2 of the Rob and Ehrman "BACON"

OK-

So after leaving our great hotel (Super 8) which from a scale of 1-10 was a 7 on the scary level. We left around 8am and continued thru Nebraska to Colorado where the mountains came. And thats where Rob wanted to start driving the mountains-

the mountains- is he nuts, this is NOT a bicycle- you go faster in a car than you do a bike. I was scared- between hi eating ALL the time, and looking at cars on his side of the window- I needed to look up to make sure he was paying attention.

After a… Continue

Day 1 on the road with the "EHRMANANTOR"

Day 1-

We started off around 8am (and in traffic of course) and started counting EACH and every mile and second as they went by.

A few things I learned abount Rob Ehrman-

1 He commutes EVERYWHERE in Chicago- but yet HATES traffic and tells you which lane you should be driving in.
2. He eats 200 calories, EVERY 4 min- I mean he has his fist in his mouth every other second. boy can that guy eat.
3. He likes to listen to books on tape (which I didnt mind too much)

other than that we drove into… Continue

Noda,
Thank you again for a fantastic Solvang Camp! 'Seems to me that RV's camp is what life is all about--and I'm feeling so very fortunate to have been a part of it. And I'm loving this new weblog!
VQ Solvang Camp and the people in it, are incredible!

I was looking forward to the camp. Newly biz contracts held me back from the camp & training. Only 3-4 hours per week in the last 2 months will not cut it. It should work out next year. Seeing all of you having fun beating your self up climbing the big Fig. is make me very jeleous. The Gazelle is coming back strong next year.

Regarding the coach vote -

If you can't add a field on VQ Ning site, let's just do a paper vote. Votes due by 4pm, just like athlete log. Winner announced at the presentation tonight? Maybe we can put a sign up by the rider return sign-in sheet with some slips of paper...vote for "VQ Coach of the Camp" and have a little box (or empty gatorade container), people can vote right there. Let me know if I can help with this...

This website is great. I feel like I am almost there without the pain. It's also great advertising for all future camps; its sure whetted my appetite.
